About me
After spending 15 years in (mostly) high-end professional kitchens learning how to deal with psychopaths and addicts I decided it was time to change focus. These days I work with dreamers and artists.
This has brought on new challenges - you want a slow mo custard tart, flying through the air? Fine. Or maybe a glowing plate of French fries? Dogs? Cats? Children, cars, clowns and more? Can do! Honestly a decent portion of the job is making sure there aren't any "cock and balls” hiding in plain sight.
Naturally I’m more than at home building a tasty looking burger or cooking a juicy steak too!
My many years working in kitchens means that when I’m hands on camera my movements look skilled and natural.
I’m very comfortable working in stills photography, TV/Film and social content (stop motion/”Tasty style”). I have also enjoyed working for hotel chains with their chefs to produce some lovely images.
I enjoy the process of designing dishes and picking out/sourcing props. I am also happy to closely follow a brief if required to do so.
I'm based in Manchester, UK but I'm happy to travel.
When I'm not styling delightful treats you'll probably find me on the mats training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, bouldering or playing with my dog Chip who I often bring to work - if allowed.
